Candlelight Remembrance is available in three versions, based on the number of photos or short video clips you would like included. This style uses fewer images than some of our montage-style tribute videos because each photograph is given its own focused candlelit scene, with a slower and more traditional pace.
- 7 photos or short video clips, runtime will be approximately 1 minute 30 seconds
- 14 photos or short video clips, runtime will be approximately 2 minutes 27 seconds
- 21 photos or short video clips, runtime will be approximately 3 minutes 30 seconds
These timings are close approximations, as the final length can vary slightly depending on the photos, video clips, wording, music and editing choices used in your finished video. The slower pacing is intentional for this style, allowing each selected image to feel more personal, more prominent and more reflective.

These timings may vary slightly depending on the final edit, wording, music and the material you provide. How do I get my photos and videos to you?
After you place your order, we will contact you personally to arrange the easiest way for you to send your photos, short video clips, music choice and notes. This may be by email, Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer or another simple file transfer method that suits you. You do not need to have everything ready immediately when ordering.
Can I order more than one tribute video?
If you need more than one tribute video, please place separate orders so each video has its own clear instructions and separate set of materials. This helps us keep each set of photos, video clips, music choices and notes clearly matched to the correct video.
What if my files are very large?
That is not a problem. After you order, we will agree the best way to send large files, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer or another file transfer method. Please do not worry if short video clips are too large to email.
What if I only have physical printed photos?
If you have physical photos, please get in touch with us so we can work out the best solution. We can advise whether it is best for you to scan them, photograph them clearly with a phone, or discuss another practical option.
Do I need to organise the photos or videos before sending them?
No. If you already have them in a clear order, that can help, but it is not essential. You can also send notes telling us which images or clips are most important.
Can I include video clips?
Yes, short video clips can be included. However, Candlelight Remembrance is mainly designed around photographs, framed images and gentle candlelit movement. For the best result, we usually suggest prioritising photos and using video clips sparingly. If you have several clips you would like to include, please contact us first so we can advise what will work best.

The finished video is supplied as a digital file, so you can also keep it and share it afterwards with family and friends, including people who could not attend in person. If the venue has any specific technical requirements, please send them to us and we will prepare the video accordingly where possible.
Can this video be used with Obitus?
Yes. If the funeral venue uses Obitus, your finished tribute video can be supplied as a family-provided video file for playback during the service. We normally supply the finished video as an MP4 file, which is a standard format for video playback. If your funeral arranger or venue requests a different format, please let us know and we will provide it where possible.
